Pretreatment for Feathers, Oil, and Tissue Solids
The Poultry Processing Wastewater Treatment System treats wastewater from chicken, duck, and goose slaughtering, defeathering, evisceration, cooling, cutting, and equipment cleaning.
Poultry processing wastewater commonly contains feathers, animal tissue particles, blood, oil, suspended solids, and biodegradable organic matter.
Feathers and fine tissue can wind around ordinary screening equipment or block pipelines. The system can therefore use a fine screen and rotary drum screen at the front end to intercept feathers and tissue fragments.
Dissolved air flotation then removes oil and light suspended material. Biological treatment and disinfection are used to further reduce dissolved organic pollutants.
This staged process helps protect pumps, biological tanks, and membrane units from the impact of excessive solid material.
Water Quality Range and Biological Processes
Treatment capacity ranges from 10 to 1,500 m³ per day. The suitable influent COD range is 1,500 to 6,000 mg/L, while influent BOD₅ ranges from 800 to 3,500 mg/L.
The system can receive wastewater containing 100 to 800 mg/L of oil and grease and 300 to 2,000 mg/L of suspended solids.
Depending on available space, pollutant load, and required outlet quality, the biological section may use A/O, MBBR, SBR, or MBR technology.
An equalization system can manage changes in wastewater volume caused by different production shifts or seasonal operating conditions.
Automatic dosing equipment can operate according to flow and system status. The disinfection section may use ultraviolet, ozone, or chlorine-containing equipment.
The Poultry Processing Wastewater Treatment System is suitable for poultry slaughterhouses, poultry cutting workshops, cooked poultry plants, processing parks, and cold-chain facilities.
Project Design and Factory Quality Control
Zhejiang Shengsheng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. can focus the process design on feather screening, oil removal, and flow equalization according to the characteristics of poultry wastewater.
The company also manufactures poultry carcass treatment equipment, animal waste crushers, and industrial wastewater treatment systems. Wastewater treatment can therefore be considered together with the production waste route.
The factory can manufacture screening frames, flotation tanks, integrated treatment modules, and supporting structures.
After assembly, the team checks screening operation, sludge scraping, pump and valve connections, automatic dosing, and the control system. A 100% inspection is completed before packing.
Customized Production and Service
OEM, ODM, water-quality-data, production-shift, and site-layout customization are available. The minimum order quantity is one complete set.
Complete systems normally take about three months to produce. The final production schedule depends on treatment capacity, biological process, and disinfection configuration.
Photos or videos can be provided at different manufacturing stages. Third-party inspection can also be arranged.
For export, screens, control cabinets, pumps, instruments, and dosing components receive separate moisture and cushioning protection. Pipe fittings and connection parts are clearly marked.
The product includes a two-year free warranty. Installation, commissioning, operator training, and support for screening, flotation, aeration, and dosing adjustments are available.
